The Kenbi Dance Group performed on board the Japanese Cruise Ship the "Pacific Venus" which was docked at the Darwin Wharf. There were 300 passengers on board who enjoyed the traditional dancers on Thursday 23rd January 2009. |

Kenbi Dance Group attended the Tarerer Festival held on the 15th & 16th November 2008. The Tarerer Festival was at Killarney, Victoria, 4 hours west of Melbourne and at the end of the Great Ocean Road. The Tarerer Festival was held on the traditional site of the meeting of the coastal clans. |

The Kenbi Dance Group participated in a Nature Documentary for Japanese TV called "Spaceship Earth" by Oceapro which is based on the Gold Coast. It was a two hour shoot which will be aired weekly across Japan nationwide. Film Location was at Cox Peninsula on the 11th November 2008. |

The Australian Indigenous Doctor's Association were treated to a wonderful performance by the Kenbi Dance Group at their Conference which was held in Darwin on Saturday 4th October 2008 at the Darwin Convention Centre. The AIDA were celebrating it's 10th Anniversary as well as their Symposium "Our Culture, Our Kids, Our Future". |

The Announcement of Inpex was held at Parliament House on Friday 26th September 2008 with many diginitaries present including Inpex President Mr Naoki Kuroda, The Federal Resources Minister Mr Martin Ferguson and the Chief Minister of the Northern Territory the Hon. Paul Henderson. The Kenbi Dance Group welcomed all to Darwin with a very traditional performance. Mr Ferguson had to face a spear from their Lead Dancer Pudawu Moreen. |
